An Appreciable Design
For gent’s average wrist, Armand Nicolet T618A-GR-P760NR4 would be an XL size. Its sturdy round case that is made of titanium has a masculine diameter of 44mm, and it is fairly thin for a mechanical watch with this kind of complication at around 15mm thick only. The case is shaped in such manner that makes it fits comfortably on the wrist, and, it is supported with a comfortable bracelet that makes it even more a pleasure to wear.
The watch’s case, as well as its uni-directional rotating bezel atop are finished in fine brush. Similar to the previous model of Chronograph & Complete Calendar series, the bezel features Black rubber edging in Black that makes it easier to rotate while amps up its sporty looks, and also adds another degree of shock resistance to the watch’s already durable titanium case due to the material’s characteristics. The bezel also features engraved 60-minute diving scale, and a single luminous dot marker at the 12 o’clock position. And as expected, encased within, is an anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal that securely protecting the timepiece’s attractive Slate Grey dial against necks and scratches while also providing an appreciable continual clarity at once.
At the other side, its caseback is solid, a screwed-in type, and it is engraved with markers and decorated with Armand Nicolet’s famous leaping fish insignia at its center. Furthermore, at the right hand side of the case, there are a large screw-down crown, accompanied by two polished push-pieces for the chronograph that are similar to the bezel, feature Black rubber coating that lends a nice accents to the timepiece’s overall looks while providing a better gripping at once.
Furthermore, this 44mm Armand Nicolet S05 titanium watch comes with Black bracelet that is made of genuine alligator leather. It is fairly thick and supportive, measures around 24mm wide, and it comes equipped with a traditional pin and buckle clasp. For maximum adjust-ability, the strap has 7 perforations, speaking of which, it can accommodates a range of 6 up to 8-inches wrist’s circumference. It has perforations décor near the lugs, and it also features a hand-sewn contrast stitching details.
The Face and the Movement Behind
Armand Nicolet T618A-GR-P760NR4 comes with a sharp looking Slate Grey dial. Despite of its complications, it is indeed a tad bit crowded, but, you can be sure that its read-ability wont be disappoint. It has a nice contrast coloring that makes it easy to distinct its one and another functions, and, it also features luminescent materials that lends a nice degree of night read-ability as well.

The dial itself features alternating oversized Arabic numeral and sticks hour markers, encircled by Silvered ring with printed stick minute markers. The brand’s hallmarking; “Armand Nicolet Tramelan” and “Chronograph Automatic Complete Calendar” can be found at the three o’clock position. Furthermore, the dial also comprises large hour and minute hands with fluorescent materials and a slimmer, luminous arrow headed central sweep seconds hand with red tipping and yellow SuperLuminova fill.
Speaking a bit about the movement, the Calibre AN 7751 TNK is Armand Nicolet’s personalized version from the caliber ETA Valjoux 7751. Just like its base caliber, this fairly accurate 13¼ lignes chronograph automatic movement is a tad bit "loud", giving the watch its own distinct characteristic. Regarding specs, AN 7751 TNK is beating at a high frequency of 28,800 alterations per hour, and it provides around 46 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The movement itself contains 25 jewels, and it also features an integrated Shock arbsorber. It is not a chronometer grade, in which, in terms of accuracy, it performs slightly better than an elaborate grade chronograph movement.
