Basically, this luxury wrist watch is pretty much the same as the steel on rubber variants of ML’s Pontos Chronographe. But, its steel part is further enhanced by PVD / Black ceramic coating which goes without saying, upgrades its stainless steel’s already durable characteristics with a better scratch resistance while also refining the watch’s elegant silhouette with an even more distinctive looks. And not only on the outside, this timepiece’s self-winding caliber ML112’s rotor (oscillating weight) that features Côtes de Genève pattern and can be seen via the exhibition caseback is also got the same treatment as well.

Based on its size, this Maurice Lacroix PT6188-SS001-331 is considerably a large size for gent’s average wrist. Speaking a bit about of the movement, the self-winding caliber ML112 is an ETA 7750 based chronograph automatic movement, not an exclusive / manufacture movement. This cams integrated chronograph is personalized by Maurice Lacroix to comply with their own preference --which mostly, aesthetic and layout, with no "heavy modification" performed. Just like the most of Valjoux 7750 based calibers, the ML-112 is a tad bit “loud”, winding at a single direction, and it beats at a high frequency of 28,800 alterations per hour. This 13¼ lignes movement contains 25 jewels, and when fully wound, it provides 46 hours of power reserve. Maurice Lacroix ML 112 is not a chronometer grade, in which, its performance is rated in between the elaborate and top grade of the original ETA 7750.
