Opted for diving and other water related activities, this wrist watch’s finely built case and link bracelet are made of premium grade stainless steel that is rugged and corrosion resistant. Its face is shielded with a scratch resistant sapphire that is enhanced with an anti-reflective coating. And to let you conveniently make use of it, the rhodium-plated hands, as well as the indices on its dial feature SuperLuminova luminescent coating so that they would remain visible in every light conditions.
Compared to the Chronograph HydroConquest, this Longines L3.640.4.56.6 is a tad bit smaller, and slimmer, too --but, it has with the same bracelet, and similar dial layout, sans the subdials. Its polished case that comes with Black aluminum rotating bezel, a fluted screw-in crown, and a screw down solid caseback measures 39 mm in diameter and approximately 10.2 mm thick. The bracelet, which is finely fashioned with brushed and polished finish is around 22 mm wide, comes with a double security folding clasp, and features an integrated diving extension.

Speaking of the engine inside, Longines caliber L263 is a fine quartz movement that has a good accuracy and durable. Buile based on the ETA 955.412, this Swiss quartz movement offers a precise three hands, and an automatic date at the three o’clock position. These functions are nicely showcased through the watch’s Sunray Black dial that is neat and easy to read, which in addition to the luminous hands and indices mentioned once before, also features applied, Silver tone hour markers and three, large Arabic hour markers (6, 9, 12) with SuperLuminova fill.
Just like every HydroConquest, this watch has a sport oriented design. But, that doesn't means that you can't wear it as your daily wrist accessory. In fact, with that kind of look, it is versatile enough to be paired with anything from your casual to formal attires alike. Anyway, this diving ready steel on steel timepiece’s original manufacturer suggested retail price is quite reasonable at $1,000.00 --which is one more good reason to snatch it, right?
