As expected from the France founded renown jeweler and watchmaker, behind its visually attractive design, this mechanical timepiece is constructed with the finest materials and quality components, and is executed with an excellent precision craftsmanship to ensures that its inside out flawless beauty wont fade even for years to come. Furthermore, not only focusing on aesthetic, its design also account the ergonomic aspects as well for comfort.

Based on its size, this Cartier W7100039 is considerably a large size. Its polished hefty round case that is made of premium grade stainless steel has a masculine diameter of 42 mm --in which, the cylindrical mid-section of the case (beneath the bezel) is actually widens to 45.05 mm between the lugs, and approximately 9.64 mm thick. Meanwhile, its luxurious Brown bracelet that is made of genuine alligator leather and comes equipped with a steel made double adjustable deployant buckle tapers from 22 mm to 18 mm wide. Its bezel, that is fine brushed, is made of a solid 18K Rose Gold. Furthermore, encased within the bezel, there is a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal that in addition to makes the construction even more durable, also offers an appreciable continual clarity. And as it was mentioned once before, its whole construction is 30 m water resistant so that you can be sure that it wont be hard by slight wetness, nor fog through time and use.

Upon observing its face, you’ll notice that Cartier does put a lot of effort in designing this gent’s Calibre de Cartier W7100039 timepiece’s silvered and snailed opaline dial. It is fabulous, refined with a contemporary style and detailed, has a well balanced layout arrangement, and most importantly, offers a good legibility as well. On the dial, there are sword shaped Black oxidized steel hour and minute hands with SuperLuminova, an oversized Black transferred "XII" Roman hour marker with three of smaller Roman numerals on both of its sides (I, II, III, IX, X, XI) and Silver outlined Black sticks markers on the remaining hours, an external railtrack scale with 4 quarterly luminous dots, and complimented with date aperture at 3 o’clock and a Silver subsidiary small seconds counter with Black hand and Black markers at 6 o’clock that both feature Silvered outer frames. Furthermore, its inner bezel is decorated with Clous de Paris accent for an added aesthetic.

Calibre 1904-PS MC. Speaking a bit about the movement, the Cartier Calibre 1904-PS MC that powers this wrist flattering watch is the watchmaker’s first manufacture caliber. It has some similarity with the ETA 2892-A2, but, 1904-PS MC is slimmer, and having a small seconds hack instead of central sweep seconds. This in-house self-winding 27 jewels movement beating at 28,800 alterations per hour, and provides around 48 hours of power reserve. Just like most of automatics, it does gain a bit of time, but still, it considerably accurate and has a generally well-balanced rate for a non-chronometer grade --in which, our rated daily average is around 6.4 seconds fast. And in addition, the Calibre 1904-PS MC fitted in this watch has a nice "make-up" as well; decorated with perlage, côtes de Genève, and is satin finished.
