Speaking a bit about the movement, the Cartier Calibre 1904-PS MC fitted in this automatic watch is the watchmaker’s first in-house caliber that has some sort of similarity with the ETA 2892-A2, but, it is slimmer, and having a small seconds hack instead of central sweep seconds. It smoothly beating at the frequency of 28,800 alterations per hour, and provides around 48 hours of power reserve under full wind. Performance wise, this mechanical manufacture 27 jewels movement has a generally well-balanced rate for a non-chronometer grade, in which, our rated daily average is around 6.4 seconds fast --which is good enough for an automatic that does tend to gain a bit of time.
