The built quality is superb, using enduring materials such as surgical grade stainless steel 316L and sapphire crystal, and the details as well as its finishing are remarkable, too. And, you can also be sure that the watchmaker didn't left the importance of comfort behind.

With a nicely sculpted round case that has a diameter of 34mm, this Armand Nicolet 9155A-AK-M9150 is considerably a large size for ladies’ average wrist --which makes it a small-to-medium size it were worn by gents. The watch is fairly thin for an automatic, in which, its case’s thickness is approximately 10.5mm, making it easier to goes in and out with any kind of shirt’s cuffs. Its elegant five-rows steel link bracelet is around 18mm wide, and adjustable by the links, in which, it can accommodates up to 6.3 inches (16 cm) of wrist’s circumference. And, for convenient fitting, this bracelet comes equipped with a deployant hidden folding clasp with push button safety that is decorated with the brand’s hallmarking.

On the back of its case, there is a rounded sapphire display at its center that allowing you to take a glance at the fitted, decorated Calibre AN 2895-2 VHH/VHR inside. The caseback itself is made of stainless steel, a screwed-in type, decorated with rope-like texture on the edges, and is engraved with markings. At the case’s right hand side, lays a fluted steel crown that just like those that often used on watches with 100 meters water resistant or more, it is a screw-down type.

Just like the caseback’s window, the face of this luxury timekeeper is also shielded with a scratch-resistant sapphire, in which, it is further enhanced with an anti-reflective coating for a better vieweing experience. The dial itself is gorgeous as well; nicely fashioned with a quite amount of detailing, yet, remains looking neat and also offers a good read-ability.

Side Angle: Dial and Crown. Typical to the 34mm M03 Small Seconds & Date timepieces, the watch’s face is "two-tone", comprises of guilloché decorated and Mother of Pearl background, in which, the guilloché part of this model is finished in Silver, while the MOP is Blue colored. The dial comes with metal made, silver-tone hour and minute hands that is dauphine shaped and partly skeletonized. Meanwhile, its "primary" hour markers, the sculpted square and Roman numeral, are applied within its rounded Blue MOP backgrounds. The small seconds subsidiary at six features silvered hand, central guilloché, and painted Black markers atop its own Blue MOP outer ring. The date aperture is situated at the 3 o’clock position. And, in addition, there are 60-minute scale steely dot markers for easy reference along the dial’s periphery.

Speaking a bit about the movement, the self-winding Calibre AN 2895-2 VHH/VHR that is employed by the timepiece is not particularly an exclusive (non-manufacture) movement by Armand Nicolet. Just like its name suggests it, this caliber is personalized by the watchmaker based on the renown ETA 2895/2. Technically, the AN 2895-2 and ETA 2895-2 is pretty much the same as there is no "heavy modification" made by Armand Nicolet within their "in-house" movement other than aesthetic and some minor adjustments.

Calibre AN 2895-2 VHH/VHR is a self-winding 27 jewels movement, in which, its winding mechanism works on both directions. A quiet one. This Swiss made caliber is beating at a harmonic rhythm of 28,800 alteration per hour, and, when fully wound, it provides around 42 hours of power reserve. Just like its base caliber, this 11½ lignes calibre has the same characteristics as the ETA 2892, in which, it has a small seconds that are run off the minute hand, and it does hack when the crown is pulled out. In terms of performance, the movement is rated a tad bit better than the elaborate grade version of ETA 2895/2 with an average deviation that less than ±7 sec per day. Top grade, probably, but not a Chronometer grade yet. For a mechanical automatic timekeeper, that kind of precision is considerably a good one. The movement is also fairly rugged as well thanks to the shock arbsorber integrated within. And in addition, being fitted within a timepiece that features a see-thru case back, of course, it has an some enjoyable aesthetic finishing such as perlage and Côtes de Genève pattern applied as well.

Anyway, for all of its quality offerings, this women’s 34mm stainless steel 316L on steel bracelet Silver guilloché and Blue MOP dial Armand Nicolet M03 Small Seconds & Date 9155A-AK-M9150 automatic wrist watch is reasonably offered at an original manufacturer suggested retail price of $3,700.00.
